This Privacy Policy explains how HOMEVIONA (“we”, “us”), the operator of the website homeviona.com, collects, uses and protects the personal data of its users. By using the website you agree to the terms of this Policy.

Account data — name, email address, phone number, avatar and password (stored only as an encrypted hash).
Listing data — descriptions, photos, prices, address and location on the map that you publish.
Communication — messages you send to our support team.
Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, language and currency settings, cookies and similar identifiers.

2. How we use data

to register you, sign you in and maintain your account;
to publish your listings and show them in search results and on the map;
to allow other users to contact you about your listings;
to send service emails, for example to reset your password;
to answer support requests;
to protect the service against fraud and abuse;
to analyze how the website is used and improve it.

3. Legal grounds for processing

We process personal data to provide the service you requested (performance of an agreement), on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, analytics and improvement of the service) and, where required by law, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Cookies and web analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language, currency and region. We also use the web analytics services Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics, which set their own cookies and collect aggregated information about visits: pages viewed, time on the site, device type and approximate location. Yandex Metrica may use the Webvisor technology to analyze how visitors interact with pages. This information does not allow us to identify you directly.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will keep working, but some features (for example, staying signed in) may be unavailable.

5. Sharing of data

We do not sell personal data. The contact details you add to a listing are shown to other users of the website. Data may be processed by our service providers solely to operate the website: hosting (Vercel), database and file storage (Supabase), maps and address search (Mapbox), email delivery, as well as Yandex and Google as analytics providers. These providers may process data outside your country; in such cases we rely on appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose data when required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Listings are stored until you delete them or your account.

7. Data security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), password hashing and restricted access to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent. Most data can be edited in your profile; for other requests please contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

9. Children

The website is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children.
